All members of the BMFC are volunteers and we are always keen to welcome new members to the organisation.
As a BMFC member you join a ‘family’ and become connected with a group of like-minded supporters who are committed to making a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged people in Maubisse; particularly women, children and families in rural and remote communities.
Members can get involved directly in the activities and programs of the BMFC that support the Maubisse community, including fund raising, the scholarship program, health program, Days for Girls, and arts and textiles. Most of these activities are undertaken locally in Bendigo. Note that those members who travel to Maubisse to work as part of project teams or to attend the biennial friendship consultations do so at their own expense by paying for their own airfares and associated travel costs.

A monthly meeting is usually held on the second Friday of the month before business hours at a venue in the Bendigo CBD.
