Days for Girls is an International award-winning non-government organisation comprised of Teams and Chapters around the world. Volunteers work to shatter stigma and limitations associated with menstruation to improve health, education and livelihood outcomes for girls and women. The Days for Girls Kits made by volunteers are a beautiful, washable, and sustainable solution to managing menstruation. The Days for Girls menstrual care Kit is comprised of 2 shields, 8 liners, a washcloth, soap, a moisture proof carry pouch, and pictorial instruction leaflet. The components are bright, colourful and stain hiding and are contained in a drawstring bag to provide privacy. The Kits are delivered along with vital menstrual health education which includes a version designed for boys and men. 
 
The Days for Girls Bendigo Team is one of 100+ Teams and Chapters in Australia and supply BMFC with Kits for the girls and women in Maubisse. They welcome new volunteers wanting to assist with sewing and non-sewing tasks as well as awareness raising.
